On December 11, at VIVACOM ART HALL, the 2025th Annual Valorization Conference was held, organized by the Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC) – the National Agency for Bulgaria which is responsible for administering the Erasmus+ Programme and the European Solidarity Corps Programme.
This year’s event was dedicated to the Digital Transition – one of the main strategic priorities of the Erasmus+ Programme and the European Solidarity Corps.
During the conference were presented the most significant and successful projects completed in 2025 in digitalization in education, innovation, and the youth sector.
The We Teach DATA project by RAABE Bulgaria, implemented with the financial support of the European Commission and the Erasmus+ Programme, was honored by the organizers with the prestigious Quality Label. The award was formally presented to the Managing Director of RAABE Bulgaria – Nadezhda Tsvetkova – by the Director of HRDC, Nikolay Spasov, as recognition of the project’s importance and sustainable impact.
Our Contribution to the Digitalization of Education
The We Teach DATA project is an initiative of seven partner organizations from Bulgaria, Portugal, Greece, and Slovakia, active in various areas of the educational sector. Its main objective is to integrate data science into the core of STEM education at lower secondary level.
A total of 36 interdisciplinary lessons have been developed, integrating data-related activities and helping students enhance their critical thinking skills and apply what they have learned in real-life situations. An online training course is available to STEM teachers in lower secondary education, offering theoretical and practical information on data science, video lessons, and 36 detailed methodological guidelines on how to use the student learning materials.
