PROJECT
The We Teach DATA project is an initiative of seven partners operating in various domains of the Education Sector – school and tertiary education, continuous training providing, professional literature publication and ICT application.
The project’s primary targets are the STEM teachers and their lower secondary students (ISCED 2), whom we will equip with a set of comprehensive innovative learning materials and teacher training courses focusing on data science and cross-curricular instruction.
The action is being implemented in Bulgaria, Greece, Slovakia and Portugal. We however hope to reach far broader audience beyond our countries.
Through the development, testing, piloting and promotion of a set of comprehensive innovative learning materials and trainings for teachers, with focus on data science and cross-curricular instruction, we aim to:

Enhance students’ key competences, including: digital competences, information and data literacy, communication and collaboration, digital content creation, problem solving
Enhance teachers' competences to teach Data Science within the STEM subjects’ curricula
Support teachers' professional development through providing them with targeted training courses
Contribute to the modernisation of the STEM education and promoting the use of digital technologies in the classroom

The We Teach DATA project joins the efforts of organisations that are all directly involved in enhancing of our societies’ knowledge and skills. It is our mission to constantly strive for innovation that leads to higher quality education that is relevant to the reality context and the emerging needs.
Therefore, we decided to work towards integrating Data Science in schools.
Our motivation is to allow our own end users to keep up with the global trends and the most developed countries, where the school curriculum places strong focus on data science from early age
